my tomarrow is going to be nuts!
i get up at 4:30 to wash, dry, style my hair for prom casue it will be the only time i have ALL DAY to do it casue i work from 9-4 and at 5 i have to meet my group at the olive garden for dinner ( so i have an 45 mins to get dressed and touch up my hair and make-up) prom starts @ 7 30 and post prom at midnight and ends at 4am. and then i am going to kims house to watch movies with everyone.
i have also found a prom "date" in the lovely Liz Haun, whom i will walk down the grand march with.
but yea...i will be nuts and i REALLY hope it's worth it!

so the talent show went alright...the day show was only "ok" ...i dropped my cards and the very beginning and had to wing it...but other then that it was alright. the night show was alot better...except the lights kept shorting out..and all that other fun stuff....also sarah and maggie and annie all came....it was great! i was so thankful to have them all there! ( maggie and sarah even brought me flowers!)
then we went out for ice cream and spent and hour or so in some girls car...lol, it was alot of fun though.
   so the yesterday i worked...that was intresting casue i was super tired from the talent show the day before and everyone was saying i was hung over....even to a cop who came in to buy some leather...i thought that was tasteful of them & i also found out that i am prom-dateless cause steve has to work and can't get out of it...oh well...like i said about a week or 2 ago...i not really sure i want to go anymore...but i still will cause my friends would kill me if i don't and i already have my dress and shoes. but i still need to buy my ticket it's $30...not bad...you get to go to prom ( in the gym) and go to post prom in an old out-of-bussiness night club...it should be cool.

Friday is the talent show and I will be jumping around in front of everyone in a tux telling stupid Caroline jokes and praying I don’t get booed off stage.

I picked up my tux right after school today be cause play practice was canceled (a pipe bust again and poop leaked all over the stage)…. and I my fears have been confirmed…women look terrible in tuxedos …I look like a puffy man with boobs. Although it will be really funny and I am pretty sure most of the student body is behind me cause today I was tracked down in the hallway to make a last minute announcement over the loud speaker and I did a really bad job (I didn’t even get to read it over before I had to do it) but apparently the general reaction of the student body was “ oh that Caroline”…and that is good because I have a deep lurking fear that I will do a really bad, terrible, horrible job and nobody will laugh…or worse …I will get laughed off stage.

 

…ok….deep breath…just keep swimming, just keep swimming,  just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, what do we do? We swim, swim, swim…I’ll be ok. As it turns out I always am…but I am still freaking out…wish me luck and come see the show!!!!!

I had a fantastic day today. The my lovely friend Jamie made me a hat made of a sparkly top hat and a pink boa (both stolen from the costume room) for the talent show! (which is Friday …if you want to go I’ll hook you up with tickets just let me know before Friday)  and then Haley told me she found me a prom date, I’m pretty sure she did it out of pity but whatever, he is just a friend so we will have a really good time.

 And then I got an A on my Wisconsin history project & play practice was super cool except that jerk Will was looking at me like I was crazy and asked, “what the hell is wrong with you?” when I tripped over my own feet back stage…jerk, I wanted to smake him with that stupid oversized walking stick he carries around…lol

Ok…I’m going out to dinner now!

so i just got back from the trip...it was alot of fun, especaly dancing on the street corner outside of hard rock cafe & finding a $42.00 prom dress ( i really don't even know if i want to go anymore though)
